A Wonderful Discovery


I recently have discovered that you can simply make your own coconut butter by blending unsweetened shredded coconut in a high speed blender. I had read about this occasionally, but never personally tried it. I have been experimenting with making chocolate desserts – (Surprise!) – and homemade coconut butter makes the perfect base for a chocolate dessert. This is what I created last week..

This “chocolate fudge” is all raw, refined sugar free, gluten free, and vegan. It was absolutely amazing. This is definitely one of my new favourite desserts. Great thing about this dessert is it is quick to prepare too!

This coconut butter would also go great in curries too!

So much flavour.
